Conservative talkers, grassroots groups push anti-immigration reform effort
Tue May 21, 2013
Dragonq I suppose you don't believe in the law of supply and demand. Because labor costs follow that law. The more workers willing to do the work the lower the labor cost.

Peter less is right, we have a ton of immigration each year that we don't need and which drives down wages.

Pigotry - I never thought I would live to see the day we agreed on anything. I thought for sure you would be complaining about the rough treatment of these scum bags and demanding the officers who 'executed' the older brother to be brought to trial.

In reply to: Liza-1042521 #15 Excellent post - I was greatly annoyed that they posted the youngest pictures they could find of him and not the face that they caught planting the bombs that killed and maimed hundreds of people. And the whining that the older brother made him do it is garbage. & …
As Gang of Eight presents plan, both sides gear up for immigration debate

Chip buddy, read the bill. Less is correct, looks like massive increases in immigration are built into the bill. Not sure why they added that since I don't think we need any more people but should be lowering immigration.

Is there any American (other than a plutocrat globalist) who feels there are enough jobs to absorb another 385,000 per year on top of the 1.8 million we already let in? Each and every y …
For asylum seekers, path to citizenship is paved with peril
Wed Apr 17, 2013
It must be great to live in the alternate reality of open-border fanatics who claim we are living in a zero unemployment utopia with few people on our roads, in our parks, drinking our pure water or enjoying our generous social welfare system.
Anti-immigrant groups go on attack to block 'pathway to citizenship'
Thu Apr 11, 2013
Very well said. From my understanding it is 1.8M per year when you factor in the 1M legal 500K family reunification and about 300K specialty visas. We let in more people than the rest of the world combined. Enough is enough.
